ABOUT NORTH CAROLINA HEALTH INSURANCE:

Residents of North Carolina have a variety of health insurance plans they can research and qualify for.  The most important question is, what is the best and most affordable plan for you and your family?  Our agency has written for some of the top companies in North Carolina throughout our career.  We have recently become exclusive agents for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, a company providing healthcare coverage for residents of North Carolina.  You may ask, why exclusive for BCBSNC?  It really revolves around customer service and products offered for health insurance coverage in North Carolina.  As an agency doing business for 34 years in North Carolina, we take tremendous pride in offering the best health insurance plans on the market with a company that we have 100% confidence in how they treat our clients as well as the products they offer.  There are so many health insurance plans in North Carolina that are being offered today, it is our job to determine what will work best for our clients and provide the best NC health coverage and affordability that is offered on the market today.   So, lets talk about North Carolina health insurance plans and highlight what we think is the best product on the market and provide the best health coverage for you and your family.1.     High Deductible Plans – these plans are designed to keep your monthly premiums lower but provide great coverage at the same time.  You are taking more responsibility for some of the costs, but you may find the premium works best in your budget.

2.     HSA Plans – this is the plan that I personally have for myself and my family.   Coupled with a tax qualified high deductible plan, you have the benefits of tax deductions and lower premiums, but still great coverage.  You can choose 100%, 80%, or 50% co-insurance plans with an array of different deductibles.  Everything is subject to the deductible with these plans, except annual wellness visits to your physician, for preventive care.  You would be surprised at the cost savings with all the great benefits.

3.     Blue Advantage Plans – you can select from various deductibles with either the richest 100% plans, 80%, 70% or 50% co-insurance plans.  These plans provide doctor visit co-payments, prescription drug co-payments, emergency room co-payments, urgent care co-payments and some vision benefits under Plan A.  They provide the best North Carolina health coverage you can buy.

4.    Temporary Health Insurance Plans –  this insurance coverage provides you coverage while you are out of work, in between jobs, you may even qualify when you have been turned down by other companies due to health reasons.  Coverage can begin as early as the next day and you can select your deductibles just like the permanent plans.  Keep in mind, these plans do not cover pre-existing conditions and everything is subject to the deductible.  Some companies even offer a one deductible plan for families, which is an extremely attractive feature.

5.     Medicare Supplement Plans – we have a specialist in our agency that specializes in our Medicare Products that can answer all your questions and help you with the application process, including the new Medicare Advantage Plans.

Finding the right health insurance in North Carolina is a very simple process, especially if you find an agent that will take the time to go over all your different options and make the process easy for you.  That is why we take such pride in providing you great customer service and helping you every step of the way.
