\"exps115185_SD1999448B02_25_4b_WEB\"<\/a>I once read that Mother’s Day is the biggest day of the year for the restaurant business.\u00a0 Everyone loves to celebrate Mom, and rightfully so.\u00a0 But that statistic always leaves me wondering what about Dad?\u00a0 Doesn’t Dad deserve a delicious meal?\u00a0 Maybe restaurants aren’t packed on Father’s Day because ultimately Dad winds up paying the check, which isn’t really much of a gift.\u00a0 I don’t know, but whatever the case Father’s Day deserves a little a attention<\/a>, don’t you think?<\/p>\n

The good news about Dads is typically they aren’t all that picky about food.\u00a0 Most Dads just love to eat, especially if they don’t have to cook… or pay.\u00a0 Most Dads also love to relax, which is why I thought this recipe was a great idea.\u00a0 Although often associated with Mother’s Day, I think this year would be a great time to give Dad a little taste of breakfast in bed.<\/a><\/p>\n

This Taste of Home recipe for Cinnamon Pancakes<\/a> is not only delicious, it’s also easy, even for kids who want to help out in the kitchen.\u00a0 Taking only 15 minutes to prep and 5 minutes to cook, Dad won’t have a long wait and little helpers won’t burn out too quickly.\u00a0 Using a regular pancake mix of your choice, the recipe calls for a few little tweaks to make this breakfast extra special.\u00a0 Using cookie cutters to spell out something sweet for Dad or making other shapes such as hearts or stars is another great way to tell Dad just how much you love and appreciate all he does.\u00a0 Even if you want to go for a simpler, more traditional round shape, these cinnamon pancakes with a brown sugar, butter and vanilla syrup are sure to be a big hit.<\/p>\n

This Father’s Day, let Dad sleep in… and then wake him with a big surprise!\u00a0 Fry up some bacon, brew some coffee and give Dad a delicious breakfast that lets him know how much you love him.\u00a0 This may not be the healthiest recipe we’ve ever recommended, but I personally think it’s one of the happiest!\u00a0 Give Dad a Father’s Day to remember!<\/p>\n
